Colorado is a beautiful state. I love exploring and seeing everything that the state has to offer. As I mentioned in my last post, one of the greatest things about about having out-of-state visitors is showing them around, and reconnecting with your surroundings.

We decided to make sure that we visited the mountains at some point while everyone was out, and I wanted to go to my favorite little mountain town, Breckenridge, CO. It’s a great spot that reminded me of Park City, UT the first time that I visited. It’s also the real location of where Dumb & Dumber was shot when they were in “Aspen.” We had unusually warm weather here in Denver, so I was afraid that the mountains wouldn’t be very snowy. They were though! We rode around in the gondolas, ate hot mini donuts, drank coffee, and walked around the city. It’s the perfect spot really if you want to just get away and see something beautiful and very “Colorado.”
