One of my things to do this year is knit something besides a scarf. Easy enough, right? Well, apparently not for me.

I ventured into the world of circular knitting. I found a pattern for a a simple knit hat and began. While I was knitting I thought to myself “This is much too big,” but I kept on going. After I while I realized it could never be a hat, and maybe it will be a cowl. After a little longer I realized that it was too big to be a cowl and will be an infinity scarf.

So in the end, my goal of not knitting a scarf…turned into a scarf. I’m still happy with it though. DIY infinity scarf! It’s chunky and comfortable.

To make the scarf, I did about 25 rows of 75 stitches. All knitting, no purling.

Just a little too big!
